Prayer in the Parish

Prayer is a very important part of the Ministry of Christ and the Church. As a result, the Churches of the Langley Parish regularly meet to pray:

PLEASE NOTE:
Most events do not run over holiday season periods. Please visit What's On regularly, in order to keep up to date with when events are running.

Christ the Worker Prayer Meetings

On alternate Mondays, usually the first, third and fifth of each month, Christ the Worker Church holds a Prayer Meeting from 7.00pm to 7.45pm, which normally precedes a period of Bible Study.

To find out more, please contact Chris Hanson.

Christ the Worker Prayer Group

On the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, Christ the Worker Church holds a Prayer Group, during which members of the Church and Parish have a more peaceful period of prayer, from 2.00pm to 3.00pm.

To join or find out more, please either contact Chris Hanson or Doreen Witney.
St. Francis' Prayer Meetings

Every Tuesday members of St. Francis' Church and the Parish meet to pray about various issues. The group meets in the Church hall each Tuesday from 7.15pm to 7.45pm.

Every Sunday in our Churches there is a period of time laid aside in the service for prayer of various forms. Often the Churches aim to include the areas for which they need to be praying for, as guided by the USPG Prayer Diary.
